​​Image of Canal CentreIRVING – The 237,894-sf Canal Centre, a Class A office building in the Las Colinas Urban Center, has been sold.

The asset, located at 400 E. Las Colinas Blvd., is valued at $32.6 million.

Canal Centre is 90 percent leased to a diverse base of tenants including Power Line Services, PeopleFluent, Parallon Workforce Management (subsidiary of HCA Holdings) and Volkswagen.

On-site amenities include a fitness center, café, conference center, and abundant garage parking.

​​​Images of Rocking W Ranch​MILLSAP, PARKER COUNTY – The Rocking W Ranch, owned by Walmart heiress Alice Walton, was sold to the Three Amigos Investment Group of Kermit.

According to the Parker County Appraisal District records, the investment group bought the 1,460-acre luxury cutting horse ranch in Sept. 2017.

The ranch, about 45 minutes west of Fort Worth near Millsap, includes three-quarters of a mile of Brazos River frontage.

The last price listed for the ranch, its 4,000-sf home and 24-stall main show barn was $16.5 million.

When the property was originally listed for sale, the price was $19.75 million.​​

​​​The joint venture bought one of these two apartment towers.HOUSTON – A joint venture between Hanover Company and PGIM Real Estate bought the 29-story Mosaic at Hermann Park, a 396-unit apartment community on 2.35 acres at 5925 Almeda Rd.

An adjacent condominium tower was not part of the acquisition. 

The tower has been rebranded as Hanover Hermann Park. 

Community amenities include:

  • concierge and valet services;
  • a 6,500-sf sky lounge​ overlooking Hermann Park;
  • a 6,000-sf fitness center with​ boxing room; and
  • shuttle service to the Texas Medical Center.
The property also has 20,087 sf of ground-floor retail space. ​

Image of Embassy Suites new ballroom​GRAPEVINE – Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas DFW Airport North has completed the first phase of its multimillion-dollar property renovation.

Enhancements to the 329-suite hotel— just two miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport— include a newly designed lobby and a new look for its 12-story atrium.

The renovation includes three new breakout rooms, conveniently located on the first floor of the hotel, with large windows.

In addition, updates to the suites will be completed by the summer of 2018 that will include new furniture, flooring, drapery, and artwork.

​​​Development 2000 in Southwest AustinAUSTIN – The Southwest Crossing development, located at the northwest corner of Hwy. 290 and MoPac in Southwest Austin at 5100 W. Hwy. 290, is up and running with about six tenants currently operating out of it and plenty of room for more.

The nearly 30,000-sf, four-story building can accommodate various types of businesses; however, the developer, Development 2000, is gearing most of its tenant recruitment toward medical companies.

Construction on the building began November 2016. 

The building was cleared for move-in in mid-November 2017.​​
