​​​FFO Home logoLONGVIEW – ​Furniture Factory Outlet (FFO) Home will celebrate the grand opening of its new 25,000-sf store in Longview on December 29, 2017. 

The new store will be located in the former Hastings Building at 405 W Loop 281 Suite A in the Oak Forest Plaza. 

FFO Home has opened ten new stores in 2017 and the future is looking bright with plans for continued aggressive expansion.

​​Golden State Foods logo​BURLESON – California-based Golden State Foods Corp. plans to open a new $70 million manufacturing and distribution facility in North Texas to expand its liquid products division, bringing at least 150 new jobs to the region.

The soon-to-be built 160,000-sf facility at 5501 Vantage Dr. at Highpoint Business Park in Burleson will help bolster Golden State Foods' distribution capabilities to more than 125,000 restaurants and stores throughout the globe.

The new facility is expected to cost at least $70 million, fulfilling an investment requirement for the grant.

Construction is slated to begin no later than April 2018, with an opening scheduled for no later than September 2019.

​​The entrance to the Johnson Ranch near Bulverde.BULVERDE – The developer behind the 8,700-acre luxury master-planned community Cordillera Ranch is developing a new master-planned community in the Texas Hill Country called Johnson Ranch.

The 767-acre development will be adjacent to US 281 and have entrances along US 281 and FM 1863. 

Plans call for about 1,000 houses with various lot sizes in ten distinct communities, most of which will be gated. 

So far, nearly 400 homes have been completed, and 50 more are under construction. 

Amenities in the community will include an indoor-outdoor amenity park with a pool, as well as trails, parks and undeveloped open space that will take up nearly a third of the ranch. 

Besides residential property, the site map calls for about 100 acres of mixed-use retail and office frontage property along US 281 and FM 1863.
